Damian Pascuzzo began his career working with famed
designer Robert Muir Graves. In1991 he became the principal
designer and partnered with Graves to form Graves & Pascuzzo
based in El Dorado Hills, California. Pascuzzo has worked on
a broad range of projects from residential and resort
developments, to master planning and remodeling existing courses,
throughout North America and Asia. In 2001 he was elected
President of the American Society of Golf Course Architects.
Pascuzzo continues to play an active role in the leadership of
that organization.
In
2006, longtime veteran of the PGA Tour, Steve Pate joined
with Damian Pascuzzo to form Pascuzzo & Pate Golf Course Design.
Steve brings his vast knowledge of golf and playing strategy
gained from competing on the great courses of the world for over
30 years. Pate’s professional career includes six PGA Tour
wins, and membership on two Ryder Cup teams.
Pascuzzo and Pate have made a commitment to treat each
design commission as a unique undertaking. Damian and Steve
are directly involved in every one of their projects whether it is
a new golf course, or the remodeling of an existing facility.
The firm has built a significant design portfolio for an array of
clients in both the public and private sectors. Their completed
works have become well known for meeting their client’s goals,
being popular with golfers, and gaining national recognition.
